I raise AKC registered beagles in
central Arkansas just outside of Cabot. My goal is
to produce top quality
dogs for rabbit hunting but I also participate in field
trials, especially in the ARHA/NKC Gundog Division. That format promotes a nice,
smooth running dog with line control and that's the style I prefer to hunt
with.
I like a
medium speed dog with good
confirmation, a
strong desire to find and jump a rabbit, a good
nose, and that is close and clean on the line and in the check area.
I
sometimes have
puppies, started, or
running dogs for sale. All of my puppies are whelped and raised in above ground
kennels to help keep them free of parasites and diseases and their health
is guaranteed.
I will be as
honest I can about any dog that I sell as to its ability, health,
handling, etc. and will gladly show them in the field.
